Does anybody know anything about this scene and the language that it is in? The clip is called Janika and a play of that name was popular in Hungary before the Second World War, with a film version being made in 1949. The faintly ludicrous plot involves a wife called Gizi who invents a son, Janika, in an attempt to woo back her estranged husband. The clip seems to be from that play, but can anyone translate the dialogue?
